Mackerel/ Bangda

The Indian Mackerel, also known as the Bangda, is an oily fish that can be found in shallow warm waters off the coasts of India and the Western Pacific Ocean. You can deep fry it or pan fry it, or make a delectable curry recipe called Bangude puli munchi with it. Bangda, unlike other white fish, should be eaten fresh because it turns more quickly than other types of fish.
